Goal: Demystifying the COVID-19 testing process.

Description:  Traveled with ASTHO CEO Mike Fraser to Richmond, Virginia, to film and interview public health staff about their work in processing COVID-19 vaccines. The video was featured in the Washington Post.

Why You Should Apply for the DELPH Program

Goal: Explain why potential applicants should apply to the Diverse Executives Leading in Public Health (DELPH) program.

Role: Producer, videographer, editor

Description: Collaborated closely with the leadership and workforce development team to conduct interviews with DELPH cohort one scholars. Scripted and edited a video with the goal of encouraging potential applicants to apply.

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, with experience integrating music, captions, motion graphics, and visual effects into timelines.

  • Manages video projects end-to-end, from pre- to post-production, including storyboarding, interview coordination, equipment planning, and sourcing visual and audio assets

  • Experienced in documentary filmmaking, including interview framing, audio, lighting, and capturing b-roll footage, among other on-the-ground production needs.

VDH Internship Academy Paves the Way for the Next Generation of Public Health Talent

Goal: Showcase how Virginia leveraged the Public Health Infrastructure Grant to build a sustainable public health internship program.

Role: Videographer, scriptwriter

Description: Partnered with the Virginia Department of Health to highlight the early impact of the Internship Academy. Led filming and scripting to translate the interviews into a concise, engaging video.

Advice for Engaging a Legislature: Eight Testimony Tips for Public Health Leaders

Goal: Demystify how public health leaders can engage with state legislatures.

Description: Led the interview and partnered with an editor to produce a practical video designed for public health leaders beginning to navigate the legislative process.

Medicaid and Public Health Partnerships in Iowa

Goal: Produce a visually compelling format for an audio-only interview.

Role: Editor, Graphic Designer

Description: I created a long-form audiogram so people can listen to a conversation about Medicaid and public health partnerships in Iowa. I used Headliner and Premiere Pro to edit the final product. The design was created using Canva. The video was embedded into an accompanying blog post that I edited on the same topic.

Introduction to Epiphytes

Goal: Create an informational video about plants.

Role: Videographer, editor

Description: Produced a two-minute educational video on epiphyte plants to use for science education in both Spanish and English, with over 45,000 views on YouTube. It is also available in Spanish.

A Look into Sibley’s Cafeteria

Goal: Share the untold story of cooks at Sibley Hospital.

Role: Producer, videographer, editor

Description: During an internship at Sibley Memorial Hospital’s Design Lab, I produced and edited a video to spotlight the process of feeding patients and staff at a hospital.
